Dr.
Juan Luglio Joins Magnetek as Product
Development Manager for Wireless Products

Falls, WI, September 18, 2006 -- Magnetek,
Inc. (NYSE: MAG) today announced that Dr.
Juan Luglio has joined Magnetek's Power
Control Systems group as Development Manager
for Wireless Products. Dr. Luglio has worked
in the microwave and RF electronic design
industry for over 15 years and specializes
in two-way telecommunications applications.
Prior to joining Magnetek, Dr.
Luglio was Director of Hardware Engineering
at Silver Spring Networks, Inc., a telecommunications
company specializing in automatic meter
reading over a
two-way
wireless network. He has also held positions
at the Medical College of Wisconsin as a
Microwave Engineer, and at Motorola as an
RF Design Engineer. Dr. Luglio holds a PhD
in Electrical Engineering from Marquette
University.
The addition of Dr.
Luglio is part of Magnetek's ongoing strategic
growth initiative in new product development.
The company is currently adding engineers
in critical technology positions in power
conversion, control, and wireless design.
